Our quilter’s are noticing a big influx of quilts. ‘Tis the season! We always have a 3 week turn-around goal; however, we usually get pretty busy now, so the deadline for quilts to be machine quilted in time for Christmas is 12/1/08.

 NE IA Binky Patrol Chapter
Binky Patrol is a national non-profit organization that reaches out to needy children, including HIV-positive, drug-addicted, neglected, abused or children experiencing trauma in any way. “Binkies” are distributed through local area hospitals, shelters, and social service agencies.
“Binkies” of any size from 36″ X 36″ all the way up to twin size. These binky’s may be quilted, sewen, knitted or crocheted. If tying off please make sure yarn is double knotted and no longer than 1″ long. Fringe on crocheted or knitted “binkies” need to be kept short also. No buttons should be used. Labels will be sewn in one corner. “Binkies” may be made without batting if you desire. Remember sometimes batting makes the “Binkies” heavy for young children.
Donations of money may be made to Binky Patrol, this money will be forwarded to the national headquarters and returned to us in the form of money or supplies. We can accept fabric, notions, batting, yarn or other supplies. Donated supplies will be distributed to local volunteers for binky making. Tax receipts will be available if requested.

The 6th Annual Cresco Quilt Festival featuring the Minnesota Road Show is this Saturday! All registered attendees, please plan to arrive at the shop at 9:30 a.m. No need to bring anything except your happy faces - we have taken care of everything! We are looking forward to a WONDERFUL DAY! See you then!

OESD Christmas Collection #2
The second collection has arrived! Purchase $60.00 of OESD products
(Isacord or YLI thread, stabilizer, design collections, etc) and
receive the collection for FREE! Holiday Collection 2 features designs to create an elegant table scape of napkins, napkin rings, candle wraps, and much more! The collection will be available in Cresco or Racine through October 25.
Collection 3 will feature the stand-alone sleigh and reindeer and will be available in November. Don’t forget to save the proof of purchase coupons that are inside the package of each collection. Present all three coupons between December 15-20 to receive a bonus collection for free. The bonus collection features 12 all-occasion cards and each card has a coordinating bookmark.
